20-GHz mixed-signal ’scopes

Tektronix has introduced the MSO70000 series of high performance integrated mixed-signal oscilloscopes. The instruments have up to 20 channels of measurement capture— four analogue and 16 digital—with analogue bandwidth ranging from 4 to 20 GHz and a 80-psec digital-channel timing resolution. The units combine the signal visibility and timing features of a highperformance logic analyser with the analogue precision, probing and usability of a high-performance real-time ’scope. As areas of use, the company suggests high-speed design applications such as DDR memory, high-performance ASICs, FPGAs, SoC (System-on-Chip devices, and digital RF. Prices start at €58,600.
