6-GHz PXI-format RF test platform

Aeroflex has introduced a modular RF test platform for wireless applications up to 6 GHz, applicable to cellular, wireless data, RFIC test and military/aerospace testing. It includes PXI 3000 Series hardware modules, PXI Studio software with new measurement plug-ins, and a new PXI instrument chassis that uses either an embedded or external controller. PXI 3000 Series modules now include the 3025C 1-MHz-to-6-GHz digital signal generator, 3030C 250-Hz-to-3-GHz wideband RF digitiser and 3035C 250-kHz-to-6-GHz wideband RF digitiser. The 3025C module has an increased RF output-power range of -120 to +6 dBm to support RF component testing. All new modules provide the ability to generate and analyse signals with RF bandwidths up to 90MHz— nearly three times the bandwidth on current models. Additional measurement plug-ins enable PXI Studio to analyse WiMAX OFDMA and WLAN signals as well as providing generalpurpose spectrum analysis. You can carry out WiMAX analysis for any type of WiMAX UL/DL OFDMA PUSC sub-frame configuration, and analyse WiMAX and WLAN signals for power, modulation quality and spectrum.
