Cross distribution agreement to offer embedded software

Wittenstein High Integrity Systems and InterNiche Technologies have signed a cross distribution agreement to give their respective customers better access to the complete range of products from both companies. Under the terms of the deal, both technology firms will now offer InterNiche's range of protocol software and High Integrity Systems' efficient operating systems with file system and USB support. InterNiche supplies embedded protocol software with TCP/IP stacks, embedded device management software such as HTTP Server and SNMP and security modules such as IPSec and SSL. High Integrity Systems offers real time operating systems that are based on the open source kernel, FreeRTOS. Its SafeRTOS is SIL3 pre-certified for safety critical applications. Its OpenRTOS Connect brings USB and FAT file system functionality with full commercial support to FreeRTOS, allowing developers to create applications for free before upgrading to benefit from the supported kernel.
