Smart Systems Integration, 8/9 March 2017, Cork, Eire

08 Mar 2017
09 Mar 2017
This international Conference and Exhibition is presented as a communication platform for research institutes and manufacturers to exchange know-how on Smart Systems Integration and to create the basis for successful research cooperations with focus on Europe.

The event is part of the activities of EPoSS, the European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration.

Its exhibition brins together research institutions, manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, producers of sub-assemblies, components and systems in the sectors microsystems and nanotechnology, microelectronics, micromechanics, sensor technology and wireless communication.

Smart Systems Integration, say the organisers, is that which can form a system out of components which is able to gain information from the environment, to process it electronically, to communicate signals and data and to give enabled feedback signal to the ambience. Due to increasing complexity and multidisciplinarity developing teams in fields of microsystems- and nanotechnology, optics, fluidics, biology, medical science, electronics and wireless communication technologies face highest demands.

The conference will gives a comprehensive overview about the latest developments, applications and possibilities as well as trends and visions.

The Conference Chair is Prof. Dr. Thomas Otto, of Fraunhofer ENAS, Chemnitz, Germany.

The event takes place at the Radisson BLU Hotel & Spa, Cork, Ireland; its website is at;
