Four-port vector analysers

Anritsu has introduced two low-end frequency models to its MN469B VectorStar four-port test sets. These instruments are multiport VNA (vector network- analyser) solutions and measure down to 70 kHz. The series combines dc coverage and the dynamic-range timedomain capability of a VNA, and measures signal integrity. The devices provide four-port capabilities using an external test set that the base VNA drives. A new level of flexibility removes the need for the external test set to make uncompromised two-port measurements. This fourport architecture is suitable for singleended devices, balanced passive devices and balanced linear active devices.
