High-speed SRAM with short lead-times

ACAL Technology has introduced high-speed SRAM using an advanced manufacturing process, which will enable OEMs and CEMs to reduce lead-times to just 8 to 14 weeks for the second-source GSI alternatives, claims the company. GSI’s advanced ExactPreference manufacturing process enables ACAL Technology to achieve short lead-times on the complete range of GSI high-speed SRAM, which features a range of speeds, up to 350MHz, as well as low static and dynamic power consumption. Applications which could second-source to GSI SRAM include networking, switches, routers and base-stations as well as VoIP, DSP, DSL line cards and modems. OEMs in the industrial, medical and military sectors could also cut lead times and increase system speeds by second-sourcing GSI SRAMs.
