New iCoupler digital isolation products

Analog Devices has introduced four-channel digital isolation products that meet medical-grade specifications for data and power isolation in patient monitoring and other medical equipment. Each device integrates ADI’s iCoupler digital isolation technology and proprietary isoPower DC/DC converter, providing both isolated power and isolated signal channels within a single package. These isolators are a better choice over discrete solutions. The ADuM640x quad-channel isolator family includes the ADuM6400, ADuM6401, ADuM6402, ADuM6403, and ADuM6404 digital isolation products. These isolators offer 5kV rms medical-grade isolation and four independent isolation channels in various channel configurations and data rates. The onboard isoPower isolated DC/DC converter provides up to 500mW of regulated, isolated power and can operate at either 5.0V or 3.3V. The ADuM640x also includes a thermal shutdown feature. The available ADuM440x family of quad-channel digital isolators features enhanced system-level ESD protection with 5kV rms medical-grade isolation. The ADuM440x family includes the ADuM4400, ADuM4401, and ADuM4402 digital isolation products that differ by channel configuration.
