Distributor Rutronik has Advantech’s SOM-7568 low power, fanless COM Express Mini Module with Intel Pentium N3700, Celeron N3150 or Celeron N3000 single-chip processors, which are manufactured in Intel’s 14-nm process technology. The mini module is suitable for lower power handheld applications.

SOM-7568 supports up to 4 GB dual channel DDR3L 1600 MT/sec non-ECC onboard memory with higher memory bandwidth for better performance. It supports 4 GB to 32 GB eMMC onboard storage. The mini module features low power Intel gen. 8 graphics integrated in the SoC, with up to 16 Execution Units, and has twice the graphics performance compared with the previous platform as well as a significant enhancement with its 4K2K display resolution. Based on this new Intel platform, SOM-7568 is the first product that supports H.265 HW decode and includes the latest 3D acceleration DX 11.1, OpenGL 4.2 function. It provides multiple display interfaces, including one channel LVDS or eDP and HDMI/DisplayPorts.

Featuring business-card sized dimensions (84 x 55mm), SOM-7568 offers higher performance with TDP down to 4W/6W. The mini module is designed to support wide-range voltage input from 4.75 to 20V, which provides flexible options to fulfil various application requirements. It comes with an array of I/O interfaces including 3PCIe x1 for better data transmission, and offers one Intel i210AT LAN controller, 3 SATA Gen3, 8 USB 2.0, 2 USB 3.0, 2 COM ports, SMBus, I ²C, and HD audio interface functions. SOM-7568 is suited for lower power applications such as in-vehicle, medical, military, and transportation fields.
