The L12336 is what Hamamatsu Photonics claims to be the world's smallest 2W xenon flash lamp module, measuring only 42x42x38mm.

Designed for use in compact spectroscopy instruments for environmental and medical analysis, the unit features a built-in trigger socket, offers battery-powered operation and delivers a long lamp lifetime of 1.0x10⁹ flashes, in addition to highly stable operation (0.5% CV) and a maximum repetition rate of 1250 Hz.

These features make it well suited to use as a light source for compact spectroscopy and portable instruments for high-precision environmental monitoring or point-of-care testing.
