Continuing focus on lithium-ion cells at battery technology conference, Hamburg

August 25, 2015 // By Graham Prophet
The 9th Developer Forum Battery Technologies, organised by Batteryuniversity takes place November 3-4, 2015 in Hamburg, Gemany; the event includes a training programme, and 16 presentations by experts in specific areas of battery technology and application.

At the event (proceedings will be conducted in German) participants will gather information about the latest trends and development potential in the area of lithium-ion batteries, possibilities for optimal utilisation of their capacity and for determining the 'state of health', strategies for maximising safety with stationary storage systems, among other topics.

There is hardly any area of our daily life (the organisers observe) where lithium-ion batteries are not now employed: anyone who works as a system developer must become familiar with the basics of this technology. “ The two-day Developer Forum provides two half-day basic training seminars on the topics of 'lithium-ion battery technologies' and 'charging devices' on the first day, November 3; and 16 presentations by high-calibre speakers on the second day, November 4. With this, we now offer experienced developers and newcomers from the north of Germany, an additional opportunity to locally acquire information about major trends and new developments in the area of battery technologies, with relatively little effort, ” said Dr. Jochen Mähliß, head of Batteryuniversity.

The participation fee per person ‒ including free admission to the accompanying exhibition, breakfast, lunch and coffee buffets, after-show snack and all forum documentation ‒ for the two-day (November 3-4, 2015) 9th Developer Forum Battery Technologies is €550 plus 19% MwSt. (German Value Added Tax). The participation fee per person for the two half-day basic training seminars on the first day (November 3) is €295 plus 19% MwSt. and for the Expert Forum on the second day (November 4) is €350 plus 19% MwSt.
