HDK3261 series oscillators are housed in 3.2 x 2.5 x 1 mm surface mount packages and are available in frequencies from 13.5 to 200 MHz with typical phase jitter of 200 fsec and phase noise of -144dBc/Hz at 100 kHz. HDK5361 (5 x 3.2 x 1.2 mm) and HDK 5761 (7 x 5 x 1.8 mm) oscillators are available from 40 to 200 MHz and offer typical phase jitter of 300fsec with phase noise of -136dBc/Hz at 10 kHz. All three series are available with 2.5 or 3.3V supply voltage offering differential LVDS (low voltage differential signalling) square wave output.
Specifications include current consumption of 30 mA typical, 50 mA maximum for HDK3261, 16 mA typical, 27 mA maximum for HDK5361 and 5761, start-up time of 10 msec maximum and ageing of ±3 ppm per year maximum for all models. Operating temperature ranges from -10 to +70°C (commercial) and -40 to +85°C (industrial) are available across the range.
Supplied on 16 mm tape in quantities of 1000 pieces per reel, the new HDK series differential LVDS oscillators are suitable for applications including flat panel displays for consumer TVs, video streaming systems via external cables (e.g. LDI), high speed serial communications links such as Serial ATA & FireWire, SONET, xDSL, SDH, set-top box and Ethernet cards.
