Making use of Apple's products as host, Oscium has released the iMSO-204L, a dual analogue iOS oscilloscope shipping with native Lightning compatibility; for audio and low-frequncy use, it offers a bandwidth of 5MHz.

The iMSO-204L transforms the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch into an ultra-portable, two-channel oscilloscope. The iMSO-204L represents the company’s third generation of handheld engineering tools, featuring two analogue and four digital channels, sampling at 50 Msamples/sec, with a 5 MHz bandwidth and scaling at 200 nsec/div-10s/div.

The iMSO2 software allows waveforms to be paused and zoomed, it supports single-shot waveform capture and provides immediate feedback while zooming the horizontal and vertical scales. The software is AirPlay compatible, so the oscilloscope display can be mirrored onto compatible projectors for live demonstrations in the classroom.

iMSO2 software is free in the Apple App Store, running on iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5, iPad Mini, iPad Air, iPad 4, and iPod touch [5th generation]. The iMSO-204 hardware can be purchased for $399.97 from Oscium directly.
