Intrinsyc, which has offices in China, Taiwan the United States and the United Kingdom, usually provides support in the form of driver development, reference designs, wireless modules, navigation software is now offering the Snapdragon S4 Plus APQ8060A processor in the form of the Open-Q system-on-module.
The APQ8060A is believed to be a double-core design with Adreno 225 graphics core, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n but without the cellular communications modelm on-chip. The device has reportedly been designed into the Lenovo IdeaTab S2110 tablet computer.
When the Open-Q system-on-module is combined with the Snapdragron APQ8060A based DragonBoard it creates a platform for the development of embedded products, Intrinsyc said. The Open-Q SOM supports the Linux Android operating system and includes memory, peripherals. The DragonBoard includes the software tools and accessories required to start development.

Users of the DragonBoard will receive product documentation and access to complimentary tools and software updates, as well as receive additional support through Intrinsyc’s technical support services. Developers can also make use of Intrinsyc's turnkey product development services.
