NMB Minebea offers LED drivers covering the power range up to 20 W; a 40 W version will be available soon. A programming unit connected to a PC through a USB cable allows users to adjust for the current value desired. The programming unit makes the decisive difference: One single unit can cover the entire current range, multiple devices are no longer needed. The same applies to brightness requirements - the brightness can be programmed in the unit. In contrast, standard drivers typically feature a fixed value that cannot be altered.
The drivers are equipped with a 0-10 V control interface and offer an efficiency of better than 85%. The operating life time is specified with 40.000 hours at 60°C; if the ambient temperature is only 45°C, the life time grows to 130.000 hours. The driver accepts any input voltage between 90 and 277 VAC. The devices meet the IP67 rating for humidity protection and thus can be used in exterior lighting applications. Other important certifications include UL and EN61347.
Inventronics is already well established at the Chinese market for high-power LED power supplies. The company's portfolio embraces constant current sources with an output power of up to 250 W as well as constant voltage sources with up to 300 W. Depending on the respective version, currents up to 8 A or voltages up to 445 V can be reached. Inventronics' product spectrum is very broad - it contains more than 600 different products. The LED drivers come in a rugged casing and are protected against humidity according to IP67. Thus, they are ideal for outdoor applications.
