High performance active antenna for GPS-GLONASS applications

Designed for 1217-1250 MHz L1 and 1565-1610 MHz L2 GPS-GLONASS bands, the M1227HCT-A-SMA is a high performance antenna built on proprietary Maxtena HeliCore® technology. This technology provides exceptional pattern control, polarization purity and high efficiency in a very compact form factor.

The antenna has RHCP polarization and features a screw-on design with an integrated SMA connector. It is ground-plane independent and offers superior out-of-band rejection of over 50 dB with low-noise figure of 1.5 dB, typical.

This antenna has superior filtering performance and is rated for 50 V/m out of band interference. It is ideal for applications requiring minimal integration effort or for retrofitting existing products. Further, the antenna is equipped with an O-ring that makes the it waterproof once installed on a mating surface.

The M1227HCT-A-SMA operates from a 3- to 12-V source over a temperature range of -40 to 85 °C. Passive peak gain is typically 2 dBic at 1227 MHz and at 1575 MHz. Total gain is 20 to 40 dBic at 1227 MHz, at 1575 MHz, and at 1602 MHz, at 3.3 V.

Designed for reliable performance in high precision, heavy-duty GNSS tracking applications, the antenna integrates externally or internally with military/defense applications, including vehicle tracking, UAVs, and soldier worn communication gear or commercial applications, including agriculture and mining.

The antenna is available in three different configurations, Embedded, Standard and Ruggedized.
