High-stability clock oscillator spans industrial temperature range

These clock oscillators deliver frequency stabilities as low as ±10ppm over the full industrial temperature range of -40 to 85C. Two versions are available offering different ceramic package sizes; the IQXO-445 series is housed in a 2.5 x 2.0 mm package while the IQXO-430 series is housed in a 3.2 x 2.5 mm package.

Both series, from IQD, are available over a frequency range from 4 to 54 MHz and have current consumption of 3.1 mA at 40 MHz coupled with a phase noise performance of -145 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. IQXO-445 and IQXO-430 series come available with 4 or 6 pads and can be specified in supply voltages of 2.5, 3.0 or 3.3V.

Output is CMOS compatible with up to 15 pF load; both models include tri-state capability as standard and are intended for RoHS-compliant reflow soldering. Use them in wireless-LANS, PLC modems, Bluetooth, mobile communications, wi-max and industrial radios.
