Key component for diversity antenna systems available in high volumes

Trilithic now stocks high volume quantities of variable step attenuators with a frequency range of DC to 3 GHz, and 50 dB of attenuation in 1 dB steps, that enable DAS (distributed antenna system) RF power levels to be appropriately adjusted for DAS head-end equipment.

These ruggedised infrastructure attenuators deliver attenuation accuracy: ±0.25 dB over DC to 1 GHz, ±0.35 dB over 1 to 2 GHz and ±0.5 dB over 2 to 3 GHz. Insertion loss is: 0.6 dB over DC to 1 GHz, 1.0 dB over 1 to 2 GHz and 1.5 dB over 2 to 3 GHz. VSWR is: 1.3:1 maximum over DC to 1 GHz, 1.4:1 maximum over 1 to 2 GHz, and 1.5:1 maximum over 2 to 3 GHz.
Other features include average power of 2 W to 25º C ambient temperature and 1 kW peak power (5 µsec pulse width; 0.5% duty cycle), RoHS compliance, and SMA female connectors.
