The 96% efficient converters can be adjusted across a 0.7V to 5.5V output range and deliver up to 150W. An input range of 3V to 17V enables the iAH to operate from either a 5V or 12Vdc bus voltage, reducing the number of types that need be sepcified. A weight of 12g allows these surface mountable converters to be easily pick-and-placed using automated, high volume production equipment. As with all TDK-Lambda’s DOSA compatible footprint POLs, the iAH does not need externally mounted loop tuning components and has excellent transient response to load changes.
Standard features include a trim pin for output voltage adjustment, positive remote sense, remote on-off (positive or negative logic), input under-voltage, overcurrent and over-temperature protection. A Power Good (low on fail) signal provides indication that the output is outside of the ±12% set point tolerance, due to input under-voltage, overload, over-temperature or loss of control conditions. Safety certification includes IEC/EN 60950-1, UL/CSA 60950-1.
