Miniature digital sensors measure low pressure

From All Sensors (California and Grӧbenzell, Germany) the DLHR series of pressure sensors offers a high-resolution digital output and measurement ranges of 0.5 in H2O to 60 in H2O (gauge and differential). Based on the company’s CoBeam die technology, the devices are less sensitive to errors due to vibration or changes in time, temperature, and position. All error compensation is performed internally, so no external calculation is required.


The devices operate at a low, variable supply voltage ranging from 1.68 to 3.6V, suiting them for portable applications. Both I ²C and SPI digital interfaces ease sensor integration into a wide range of process control and measurement systems, allowing direct connection to serial communication channels. Parts offer resolution of 16, 17, and 18 bits and accuracy of greater than 0.25% FSS BFSL (full scale span best fit straight line).


DLHR series sensors come in a variety of miniature SIP and DIP configurations for operation over a compensated temperature range of 0°C to +70°C or -20°C to +85°C. Samples are available for product testing.
