MLCCs extend voltage ratings up to 500V

KEMET has expanded the company’s HiQ-CBR Series Surface Mount Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) in C0G dielectric to include extended capacitance values and voltage ratings up to 500 V.

KEMET’s CBR Series capacitors exhibit no change in capacitance with respect to time and voltage and have a negligible change in capacitance with reference to ambient temperature. Capacitance change is limited to ±30 ppm/ºC from -55°C to +125°C. They feature lower loss and improved power dissipation over palladium and nickel electrode technologies, reduced electrical noise and are capable of lead-free reflow profiles.
HiQ-CBR radio frequency (RF) capacitors are environmentally friendly and RoHS compliant and are suitable for many circuit applications, including RF power amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, low noise amplifiers, filter networks, antenna tuning, timing circuits, delay lines, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) coils.
Typical markets include telecommunications, medical, transportation, and defence and aerospace. The HiQ-CBR Series complements KEMET ferrite products, such as chip inductors and ferrite beads.
