This 21-in. high resolution, robust display features protected capacitive multi-touch sensing, for use as the human-machine interfaces (HMI) in automation and control technology, as well as for interactive passenger information systems or in Point-of-Sale (PoS) applications plus a diverse range of industrial processes.

Eltec Elektronik has developed a high resolution, robust and easy-to-operate multi-touch panel. The industrial display solution introduced by Eltec utilises intuitive-operations for interactive applications, including four-finger gestures. The 21-in. LC display (IDISP 100) has 16:9 aspect ratio and LED backlighting, with full-HD resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. The integrated, protected capacitive touch sensor allows secure and interactive operation, even when wearing gloves. The display is ready for connection to analogue video sources, such as VGA, as well as digital sources using the DVI standard. The touch sensor comes with one USB 1.1 interface. Software drivers are available for Windows and Linux.

The device is powered by a single external 12 V connection. It can optionally be connected to different sources and can be adapted for conformity with industrial standards with user-specific approvals. With a robust design the multi-touch panel, which meets protection class IP30 requirements, is suitable for the industrial and mobile environment in operating temperatures ranging from 0 to +50 °C. No mandatory cooling is required for this temperature range. The dimensions: 550 mm (W) x 355.5 mm (H) x 52 mm (D). The device weighs about 3 kg.
