Distributor Rutronik (Ispringen, Germany) has the armStone A9r2 SBC in PicolTX form factor, an upgraded version of armStone A9. Its processor provides high-performance, advanced 3D graphics and multimedia as well as HD video.

The card offers high-end computer graphic combined with extremely low power loss: armStone A9r2 can be applied without a base board and is suited for quick time-to-market. It uses an i.MX 6Solo/DualLite/QuadPlus ARM Cortex-A9 processor with 3D, 2D, OpenGL and OpenVG. A highlight of the CPU is its long term availability for more than 15 years (Freescale Product Longevity Program). armStone A9r2 comes with up to 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM, up to 1 GB SLC Flash, and additional 32 GB eMMC. Interfaces are Wifi, Bluetooth and camera interface, Gigabit Ethernet, 4x USB 2.0 Host, USB 2.0 Device, 2x CAN, I²C, 2x SPI, Audio, SATA, PCIe and 5x serial interfaces. For display control, 2-channel LVDS and DVI are available simultaneously, also with different content. It is possible to connect a resistive or capacitive touch panel via I²C. A supply voltage of 5V with a power consumption of about 4W, means armStone A9r2 can be applied without a fan or cooling device.
