Power supply upgrade reduces power consumption by 50 percent

Advantech has unveiled its new product line of 80 Plus Bronze Power Supplies which feature energy efficiency and power saving.

The new 300 W~700 W power supplies comply with ErP Policy and achieve up to 85% energy transition efficiency. Advantech has also designed an S5 sleep mode schema for motherboards; the standby power consumes less than 1 W, reducing power consumption by 50%, which works well with the power supply to complete a power efficient system.

The Advantech, intelligent 80 Plus Bronze Power Supplies help fulfill the market demand for energy savings and carbon-footprint reducing products. This contributes to environmental protection as well as providing a very cost-effective product option. Furthermore, in use these power supplies stabilize electric current andoptimize power efficiency, which increases system life.
