Tiny AT-cut crystal covers 16 to 70 MHz

Micro Crystal has released two miniature AT-cut crystals, the CC2A-T1A in a package measuring 5.0 x 3.2 x 1.2 mm and supporting frequencies from 10 MHz up to 70 MHz and the CC6A-T1A measuring 3.5 x 2.2 x 0.9 mm and supporting frequencies from 16 MHz up to 70 MHz.

The SMD ceramic package features an AT-cut crystal in fundamental mode, designed with Micro Crystal photolithographic process to offer low ageing, high shock and vibration resistance and ultra-low MSL level.

The devices can be used in avionics, radio transceivers, satellite communication and airborne equipment. The company also offers AT-cut crystals rated for high temperature operation, from -55°C to +200°C for the widest operating range. These include the 8.0 x 3.7 x 1.7 mm CC1A-T1AH (8 to 24 MHz), the 5.0 x 3.2 x 1.2 mm CC2A-T1AH (10 to 40 MHz) and the 3.5 x 2.2 x 0.9 mm CC6A-T1AH (16 to 40 MHz).
