Ultra high density 90-nm standard cell library

July 28, 2014 // By Graham Prophet
Silicon IP provider Dolphin Integration has released its SESAME uHD-BTF library, expanding its standard cell offering at TSMC, for 90 nm eF (low-power flash) and uLL processes.

Thanks to its Reduced Cell Stem Library (RCSL) architecture, SESAME uHD-BTF allows logic designers to:

- reduce the die cost, by employing a 6-track library versus 7-track library at 90 nm, by achieving up to 15% smaller die size after place and route thanks to “spinner cells” (pulsed latches) compensating any congestion risk

- extend battery life with 30% less consumption thanks to the homogeneous optimisation allowed by the reduced number of cells
