Power MOSFETs feature mid voltage silicon technology

International Rectifier has introduced a family of HEXFET power MOSFETs, which feature low RDS(on) (on-state resistance) in an industry-standard SOT23 package for applications including battery charge and discharge switches, system and load switches, light load motor drives, and telecomm equipment. Utilising the company’s mid-voltage silicon technology, the devices deliver an improvement in current handling by minimising RDS(on) by 90% to offer optimised performance and price for a given application. The family covers the range of voltages from -30 to +100V with different levels of RDS(on) and gate charge to provide an improved and enhanced range of design options for a compact, efficient and cost-effective solution. Qualified to moisture sensitivity level 1, the devices are offered lead free and are RoHS compliant.
