RS Components launches “RS Partsfinder”

Browser plug-in gives 'right-click' accelerated search of 300,000 products from any web page

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents, has launched RS Partsfinder for UK-based engineers. The software is a simple, free browser plug-in that enables instant access to the searchable RS database of over 300,000 products from any web page. Users highlight a keyword, stock number or manufacturer's part number and then 'right-click' their mouse to access the RS database without the need to copy and paste or manually open other web sites. RS Partsfinder simplifies reviewing component specifications, comparing prices, and checking stock.
Install it here, where you will also find a short video demonstrations, Installation needs no additional software and the tool can be uninstalled if necessary through the standard browser menus. There are versions of RS Partsfinder for Internet Explorer 8.0 and above, and Firefox 3.5 and above.
