Simulink design optimisation

The MathWorks has introduced the Simulink design optimisation, which gives modelling and control engineers the ability to automatically optimise Simulink model parameters. The Simulink design optimisation, Simulink, Simscape, and Simulink control design provide a modelling and control design environment that enables engineers to create plant models, calibrate these models with test data and use them to design, simulate and optimise control systems. Using Simulink design optimisation, modelling engineers can calibrate models with test data directly, bypassing time-consuming trial and error methods. Simulink design optimisation allows control engineers use optimisation algorithms for automatic controller parameter adjustment to meet system performance requirements. Using Simulink design optimisation, users can simplify complex parameter optimisation, enabling engineers to quickly create more accurate models and better control systems.
