Single-chip microcontrollers have two built-in CPU cores

Renesas Electronics has announced the availability of four 32bit All Flash microcontrollers, the uPD70F3515, uPD70F3514, uPD70F3512, and uPD70F3510 in the V850E2M/MN4 embedded Flash microcontroller family. The microcontrollers provide processing performance of up to 1024 Dhrystone million instructions per second at a clock speed of 200MHz. The microcontrollers have up to two built-in CPU cores, 2Mbyte of Flash memory and are available in a 304pin fine pitch ball grid array package. Single-core versions have 64kbyte of RAM and dual core versions have 128kbyte of RAM. The single-chip microcontrollers are suitable for factory automation systems, drives, servo drives, industrial inverters and household equipment.
