-velOSity is the latest addition to Green Hills Software's INTEGRITY family of compatible realtime operating systems. With a ROM footprint as small as 1600 bytes, RAM footprint as small as 1000 bytes, and service call times as low as 30 cycles, -velOSity is suited to the most resourceconstrained embedded devices. In addition, -velOSity's application programming interface (API) and tools integration with the MULTI IDE enable developers to create systems at a lower cost and that get to market faster. At electronica 2006, Green Hills will also demonstrate examples of its industry-specific software- development platforms, which, at the moment, support devices in the following areas: medical, Software-Defined Radio (SDR), wireless, industrial control, automotive and avionics.
