USB-equipped Cortex MCU

Atmel’s SAM3U is an ARM Cortex-M3 flash MCU (microcontroller) integrating 480-Mbit/sec USB, 4-bit 192-Mbit/sec SDIO/SDCard 2.0, 8-bit 384-Mbit/sec MMC 4.3 Host and 48-Mbit/sec SPI interfaces on-chip. This connectivity, together with the MCU’s 96-MHz yielding a 1.25-DMIPS/MHz operating frequency, makes the MCU suitable for applications such as highspeed gateways in industrial, medical, data-processing and consumer applications. Other features include 10- and 12-bit ADC, each with eight channels and the latter with an integrated PGA (programmable-gain amplifier).
